SoChef is a cooking application available on iOS, Android and web browsers, allowing you to manage recipes, plan your meals, manage your fridge and access artificial intelligence (AI) features for creating and digitising recipes.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SoChef application. By using SoChef, you accept these Terms without reservation.
SoChef offers Free and Premium access. A 7-day welcome trial may be offered to eligible new users. When granted, it provides access to Premium features for its duration, with the same usage limits.

AI features are subject to usage limits, including request-frequency and image-generation limits. Manual features remain available with Free access.
A 7-day welcome trial may be offered to eligible new users. Eligibility and availability are determined by SoChef or, for a trial offer linked to a subscription, by the relevant app store. When offered by SoChef, the welcome trial starts when you complete or skip onboarding. It requires no payment card or subscription and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. Existing active Premium access is preserved; a referral offer may replace the welcome trial without stacking with it.
The applicable Premium subscription price is the price presented in the app or the relevant app store when you confirm the purchase, including applicable taxes. It may vary by platform, country and available offer. Plans and their billing periods are shown before purchase confirmation.
All prices are shown inclusive of all taxes. SoChef reserves the right to change its prices at any time, with 30 days' prior notice to active subscribers.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your store settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Premium access until that date. No pro-rata refund is granted for the remaining period.

The 14-day right of withdrawal provided for by European directive 2011/83/EU does not apply to digital content whose performance has begun with the consumer's express agreement, in accordance with article 103.m of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users).
To use SoChef, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all actions carried out from your account.
You may delete your account at any time from the application → Account → Delete my account. This action is irreversible and permanently deletes all your data (recipes, history, planning, etc.).
SoChef reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that breaches these Terms, in particular in the event of:
By publishing recipes, photos or comments on SoChef (“User Content”), you declare:
You grant SoChef a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute your User Content as part of the service. This licence ends when your account or the content concerned is deleted.
SoChef reserves the right to moderate and remove any User Content that breaches these rules, without notice or compensation.
The AI scanning and generation features described above require active Premium access, including during the welcome trial, and are subject to usage limits.
Warning: Results generated by the AI (recipes, nutritional information, suggestions) are provided for guidance only and may contain errors or approximations. SoChef does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or suitability for your specific needs (allergies, medical diets, etc.). Consult a healthcare professional for any diet with a medical purpose.
The nutritional data displayed in the application are automatic estimates and in no case constitute medical or dietary advice.
The SoChef application, its design, its source code, its texts and its interfaces are the exclusive property of SoChef and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
It is prohibited to reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or exploit all or part of SoChef without prior written authorisation.
SoChef undertakes to provide the service with reasonably expected care. However, SoChef cannot be held liable for:
SoChef's liability is in any event limited to the amount actually paid by the user over the last 12 months.
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference into these Terms.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@sochef.app.
SoChef strives to ensure maximum availability of the service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or technical incidents. SoChef will inform users of planned interruptions as far as possible.
SoChef may amend these Terms at any time. In the event of a substantial change, users will be notified by email or by a notification in the application at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
In the event of a dispute, you may contact our customer service at support@sochef.app. We undertake to reply within 5 working days.
For European consumers, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of the law of the consumer's country of residence, in particular as regards the protection of European consumers.
